Collaborative Effort to Address Food Security, Climate Change, and Biodiversity
The ECO-READY project has announced an open call for the establishment of a Living Labs Network aimed at fostering innovative solutions in the fields of food security, climate change, and biodiversity. The call is open to all eligible stakeholders, including scientific, academic, community, commercial, and governmental entities. Expertise in areas such as food security, biodiversity, and climate change will be crucial in shaping the proposed projects.
The Living Labs Network will serve as a collaborative platform, bringing together 2 to 5 partners per consortium, with a focus on inclusivity. Each consortium is required to include at least one community of users and at least one technical, scientific, or commercial partner. Applicants are encouraged to focus their proposals on one of the four specific EU bio-climatic zones. The Living Labs Network seeks to harness a diverse array of projects that have both local and broader impact.
The Living Labs will offer a unique opportunity for stakeholders across the agriculture value chain to collaborate, experiment, and co-create sustainable solutions. By providing a platform for multi-stakeholder engagement, the initiative aims to accelerate the development and implementation of cutting-edge approaches to pressing challenges in agriculture.
The ECO-READY initiative envisions the Living Labs Network as a thriving ecosystem of innovation, where ideas will be nurtured, tested, and refined to deliver tangible benefits for both the environment and society.
Interested parties are encouraged to submit their proposals as consortia before 30th September 2023.
